Accident Case in Rajaji Path - Dombivli East | 18-Jan-2013 | Animal Treatment

New Year is on, but no end to hit and run cases on animals. According to statistics of traffic police cases of drunk driving has gone down, but there seems to be no end to the number of animals killed in road accidents. People just don't seem to have any compassion towards animals and this is a sad truth which we need to digest like a bitter pill.

This puppy was hit by a speeding bike at Rajaji Path, Dombivli. He is in extreme trauma and cannot even consume milk on his own. We took the help of our vet to administer some basic injections and pain reliever to relieve from trauma. But the situation seems very delicate and chances of survival seem very low. Ideally in such a scenario the puppy should have been hospitalized or taken indoors for fostering. But we don't have any families who would foster stray animals until its recovery. We are in desperate need of such families who can foster injured animals until they get completely recovered to be sent back to the streets. We can take care of the medical expenses and food. All we need is kind support from families who can foster such animals. We have been whining since a long time for setting up an animal hospital in Kalyan Dombivli area, but our government authorities give a damn to our pleas.

It's time for families to come forward and put some shame to civic bodies and show them that they are good for nothing. With your contributions to foster an injured animal we can prove the civic bodies that ordinary people have to do their part of the job inspite of paying such huge taxes.

HELP US PEOPLE. IT'S TIME FOR KIND CITIZENS OF DOMBIVLI AND KALYAN TO COME TOGETHER, RAISE THE BAR AND UPLIFT THE STANDARD OF ANIMALS IN OUR TOWN. WITHOUT YOUR SUPPORT, WE SHALL ONLY BE FIGHTING A LONE AND DEFEATED BATTLE.
